Do you journal?

If you do, then you know the power behind it.

If you don't...

All the emotions in your world get stuck in your mind, body and soul.

I believe it is the most powerful of all releases to understanding yourself.

In my world, it is the way I keep my head from spinning out of control.

Journaling is one of the most powerful tools that I could offer you.

Because when you release your thoughts to paper.

You release your truths to a visual.

What was maybe stuck in thought can be seen and dealt with.

When a question is asked to you first, you would likely ponder or linger on that thought of what was asked.

Second guessing your thinking and changing the thought to mostly what you think others want to hear or even worse, what you want to hear.

It is important for you to have a journal that you love to look at and to hold.

It certainly does not have to be expensive by any means, but you must feel good when you are using it.

I purchased a book before that was purple and pink poke-a-dots...

Have you ever moved from one house to another and found yourself driving to your old house after a long day at work?

This has happened to the best of us.

We do this if we change the kitchen cupboards around.

We do this if we change departments or offices at work.

Force of habit?

Yes, but here is why...

Our brains from a very young age are programmed by absolutely everything we do in life.

We are born a clean slate.

We have the innocent brain just waiting to soak up the information given to us.

The first time we see a spider... we reach out to explore, mom screams with horror.

Our brain registers spiders as the scariest thing in our lives at that moment... until the snake appears as we crawl on the grass by the garden, then that becomes the scariest.

Our experiences compound in our brains forming patterns which create our subconscious mind.

Moving through life seeing spiders and screaming as if the spider has the largest knife, like Crocodile Dundee, keeping us stuck in fear of a memory tha...

Everyone wants to improve where they are right now. Even if they do not admit it.

It's human nature to want more out of life.

Yes, have gratitude for what is in your life now, it is an amazing tool, but that does not mean learning new tools to add to your gratitude list is wrong.

Hiring a life coach is more and more common to strive for a better life, better career, even a better version of ones self.

Life coaches are NOT psychiatrists or psychologist, which are more for mental health issues. Yes some are trained to do both.

Life coaches ARE motivators and mentors to push past a specific problem.

If you had a dream to play in the NHL (National Hockey League) you would attend hockey camps, hockey schools, or maybe your parents would hire you a professional one on one coach to push your skills to the next level.

If you wanted to be an amazing pianist, you would go to the best arts school, sign up for lessons and maybe a one on one coach to push your skills to the next leve...

Our mindset is our most important asset, especially when we figure out how to create a healthy mindset. The question is, how do we create a healthy mindset.

Are you the kind of person who reacts first, and says..."Ohhhh crap... I should not have done that, I should not have said that".

I was a 'screen door open' kind of girl...(sometimes still am). Things that came out of my mouth at times, was not always my proudest moment.

I didn't think twice about saying what was on my mind, and in moments, at others expense. Definitely not who I wanted to be. But, I didn't know how to change. I didn't know how to stop the reactions to my thoughts or feeling that were boiling inside of me.

I just knew there was something more. I could feel it, no matter what I did, I knew I had to figure out my emotions.

I fell upon some amazing teachers in my time of need. Oprah being one of them. Just little tidbits of info that I would try out here and there. My favorite was turning everything into...
